GUY.exe Motion Type Animation
Using a web/digital aesthetic, I designed and animated a minute-long lyric video to go along with this lighthearted song by SuperFrult. Although I’m new to AfterEffects, this project gave me a great opportunity to play with different features, effects, and timing.

Inspiration
I cultivated a bright, energetic, digital feel by assembling a moodboard and seeing trends within this style of design. The “old internet” aesthetic appealed to me and fit with the themes in the song’s lyrics. Combining the dated Y2K style with a fresh, bright color palette led me to the final result.
